Let Freedom Ring: FREE Fourth of July Art Print + iPhone Wallpaper
Today marks 238 years since Congress voted to approve separation from Great Britain. Just two days after that vote, on July 4, 1776, John Hancock and Charles Thompson signed an early draft of the Declaration of Independence. Four days later, atop the steps of Independence Hall, members of Congress read that document to the people of Philadelphia. They then rang the Liberty Bell, which bore an inscription from Leviticus: (source)
This Friday, people all across the United States will gather to remember that historical day and commemorate its significance. It’s a holiday I hold dear, for it evokes such a sense of unity and patriotic pride.
In preparation for the day, I wanted to create a little something to celebrate. So the above art print … it’s for you! And honestly friends, I am ecstatic at the way this turned out! I hope you’ll relish it as much as I adore it!
I’ve created two versions of the print. One is a high-resolution 8×10 that can be printed on cardstock or photo paper and framed for your Fourth of July celebration or to add a bit of Americana to any room. The other file is specifically scaled to be used as iPhone wallpaper. When setting the image as your wallpaper, you’ll need to turn “perspective zoom” off, then pinch the picture to scale it down to fit the frame. Make sense?
