Hi y’all! I’m Shalene, grace-clinger, wife and part-time homeschooling mama to five. As a former magazine editor and writer, I seek to inspire women to anchor in Christ, nurture grace-filled families, and foster life-giving homes. A story-teller and beauty seeker, I write with honesty and authenticity on Instagram, on this space here, and in a variety of publications.

I am also the author of Bruce the Brave, a heart-warming children’s book that climbed to number 1 on Amazon in Christian Children’s Literature the day it was released. Additionally, I am the founder of Lily&Loom, a boutique vintage Turkish rug shop. Lily & Loom rugs have been seen on HGTV, The Magnolia Network and Fixer Upper: Welcome Home.
