Good-Enough Mom GIveaway Winner! {and the last week of the reading group}
Today I am excited to announce the winner of the Good Enough Mom tee giveaway. But first a big thanks to Charity Craig at The Wounded Dove for agreeing to partner with me. Charity’s blog is a ripe with transparent beauty, and I adore her #GoodEnoughMom Instagram concept! It was great fun to be able to team up with her to give a reader one of her head-turning tees.
And now for the winner (as determined by Random.org) … Jessica, your comment, pasted below was the winning comment!

And my name is Jessica, by the way. It’s showing up as my husband 🙂
Please shoot an e mail to Charity at charity(at)thewoundeddove(dot)com, so she can ship it out to you. Congratulations!
And in other news … today marks the last week of our F&C online reading group. I hope you’ve enjoyed journeying through Grace for the Good Girl with me. If you haven’t joined the group but would like to go ahead and start reading now that summer vacation is in full swing, you can start anytime. Click here for all the details, and here for weeks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
WELCOME TO THE FINAL WEEK!
This week’s reading covers chapters 17 and 18. As you read, consider the following questions for reflection, or use these as as a source of discussion for a larger group study.
What has been your main take-away from Grace for the Good Girl? How will you apply this to your life?
Have you had a painful situation that has caused you to have to trust God like never before? How did that experience ultimately impact your relationship with Him?
James 1:17 says “Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.” As a busy wife, mom, etc., it’s hard to keep our eyes open to see the small gifts. How can we gratefully receive His small gifts even when they may come in packages we don’t expect?
When emotions or events tempt you to pull out one of your good-girl masks, what can you do instead that will cause to press into Jesus, rather than put on a mask?
Do you ever have feelings that usurp God’s truth or are contradictory to it? What are those feelings? What advice does Colossians 3:1-3 tell us about letting God’s truth reign, rather than our own emotions?
I’m looking forward to dialoguing with you via BookShout! this last week as you reflect on these questions. I hope to see you there!
