Art Print GIVEAWAY and Welcoming Baby C!
This giveaway is now closed. The winner as selected by Random.org is Jamy Smith. Congratulations Jamy! Please e mail me at shalene(at)shaleneroberts(dot)com with your address, so I can get the print shipped out to you!
On Thursday, July 17, my brother and sister-in-law welcomed their first child into the family. We couldn’t be more excited for them, and I can hardly wait to meet little baby C! I’ll be taking his newborn photos soon, and I’ll share a few pictures from the session later, if they’ll let me.
In the meantime, I designed a nursery art print to adorn the little guy’s room. And now, I’m thrilled to share one with you! The 8×10 art print is the perfect way to deck a little boy’s nursery or the walls of a playroom. The tone-on-tone design features a hand-drawn deer, with a scripture from Jeremiah 1:5. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”
The gallery-quality Giclée print is available for purchase from Society6 in a variety of sizes. It is printed on natural white, matte, ultra smooth, 100-percent cotton rag, acid and lignin free archival paper. The piece is also available as a stretched canvas.
And because I appreciate each of you so much, I’m giving one print away to a lucky reader! Hang it in your son’s room or a nature-themed little girl’s room, or frame it and gift it to an expectant friend or new mom. Wherever it hangs, the art piece will be a visual reminder of the goodness of God! Entering is easy!

This is truly one of my favorite verses! I held it as “mine” when I was pregnant with my son, Samuel. At the time I was nearly 45 years old, he is my 3rd child but the only child of my husband. It was a bit scary but I knew God had a purpose for our child and that He had complete control over this little unborn person ~ even when the doctors told us “he might not make it” I trusted in this promise and the love of Jesus. He is very much a perfectly healthy, vibrant, abundantly talented & gifted soon-to-be 15 year old and I thank God for him every day. Yes! Hold onto the promises of God! His Word is Truth! Trust in the Lord with all your heart! He will richly bless you!

I LOVE the print and this is absolutely one of my favorite passages in the Bible. It would look amazing in my baby boy’s room. I definitely love the wooden frame you used in the photo… will have to get me one of those! I already follow.
I already subscribe! I really love this. As soon as I saw your print, I immediately thought of my heavenly baby. I’ve been blessed with three little ones on this earth. But, my second baby was lost to miscarriage 6 years ago starting this week. It took 8 weeks for my body to realize he was gone. It was a horrible time and I spiraled into a deep depression. But, the journey God took me through back onto the mountaintop is something I would never trade. I learned so much and grew more during this time than ever before in my life. One of the books I read during my quiet times each morning was, “Hinds Feet On High Places.” It was amazing. I felt like God was leading me through each page – teaching me specifically. Through much prayer I asked God one night if I could name my baby, even though it had been too early to tell the sex. As I lay in my bed, I felt the Lord gave me the name Hart for my baby – a male deer. This was not a name my husband and I had ever considered. But, in light of my favorite new book and what I’d been through – I felt it was perfect. We talked it over and decided we’d call him Hart, because he already had the feet of a deer, so to speak. He could leap freely and perfectly with Jesus in heaven. So, I just love that your print has the outline of a deer and the verse is just perfect. Although I’ve never even met my precious baby outside my own body, the Father knew him before and He knows him perfectly still. Thank you for sharing. I so enjoy your posts.
This is pure awesome… love these prints SO much! I subscribes & adore your blog! Thanks a bunch for the sweet chance! xx
